Right now, it’s 3:29AM MST and I’m on a red-eye to New York. On this flight I’m both discovering what red-eye really means, and I am so excited for my first trip to NYC! I’ve dreamt of going here for years & years and what it would be like – and I simply can’t sleep because of how excited I am to be on my way!

But let’s back up a few… how am I on a last minute trip to NYC? Well, I’m very lucky to have some amazing friends who had already made plans to visit NYC for Pride 2017, and we had talked about me coming but I wasn’t for sure if I’d be able to go. That’s because I had a “9-5” job in corporate America. I knew that it wasn’t going to be possible to go based on that reason alone – and we don’t have any business reason for me to go for work.

So I quit.

No I didn’t quit just so I can go to NYC, but I did quit to chase my dream and as I jokingly told everyone at work in my last couple of weeks, “I’m off to be a millennial.” I’m off to travel the world.

So that’s what I’m doing, traveling around, meeting new people, having new – hopefully – amazing experiences and seeing the world. While it’s a bit scary I don’t have a full-time job for income, I’m going to make the world my office – and build up clientele that allows me to work in a coffee shop in NYC, or on the beach in Mexico. I know I won’t always be able to do that – but I think what it can do for my clients is give them an even better marketing consultant because one, I’ll have seen more of the world, and two, I’m happier which makes me more creative.

Also, Airbnb seems to be going quite well so far – so that’s a bonus. Have to pay my mortgage and car payment somehow.

In addition to building an amazing boutique style clientele, I want to focus on #MyLifePossible and really bring to life this brand I’ve conceptually gone after over the last (now) several years. Plus I want to work on new clothing designs and really push Valhalla into the market like it should be.

I’ll have to update you on how New York, New York goes – I’ve only ever seen the miniature one in Vegas. And my flights almost on final approach.

But for now, I want to know what your dreams are! Comment below, I’d love to hear them and chat about them. I’m also willing to give advice if needed or wanted! You all are amazing, and I’m excited to focus on all of my readers and followers even more.

I’m coming for you NYC! And I’m making #MyLifePossible
